Membership and Stewardship

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey...The feast at the Lord's table is available to all at all Communion Services.

Unlike many denominations, we do not require anyone to be a member, or even a Christian, to worship with us.

Each Episcopal parish is separately incorporated and responsible for its own finances and programs and for selecting its own Rector.

To be a member of the Church of the Epiphany, all that is required is that this be your place of worship for six months.

As members, we commit ourselves each October to a pledge for the coming year, so that the parish does not rely on casual cash giving or "emergency" requests.

We teach that this intentional planning to return to God part of his gifts to us is the primary act of support. And we then carry out that commitment by placing our weekly pledge envelopes in the offering plate during each service.

This annual canvass is the only time we will ask you to help to provide for the finances of the parish; there are no hidden agendas.

However, you will be asked to support Episcopal Charities throughout the year and may be asked by the Rector occasionally to respond to a personal or community crisis.

All pledges and other gifts are always made and kept in confidence, so there is never any publicity or pressure.
