Wednesday (4/12 @1015 am in the Church) Holy Eucharist and Anointing for Healing
Maundy Thursday (4/13 @ 7pm): Foot Washing, Holy Eucharist, Stripping of the Altar
Ways you can participate:
- During the day: Read the Gospel of the Day (John 13:1-17, 31b-35) & choose a word or phrase to sit quietly with for 10-20 minutes
- Prepare to have your feet washed by wearing easily removed socks
- Bring a friend
- In the service: Allow your feet to be washed and Wash another's feet
- or Sing and pray as others are having their feet washed and washing feet
- Receive Holy Communion
- Behold the stripping of the altar
- After the service: Stay Awake with Christ One Hour (in the Church or at Home)
Good Friday Liturgy of the Day (4/14 @ Noon): The Passion according to St. John, The Solemn Collects, Holy Communion / Reserved from Thursday
Ways you can participate:
- Before the service: Pray with Psalm 22
- Bring a friend
- Stay in the church as long as you like
Stations of the Cross ( 4/14 @ 5 pm): Group walking meditation at each Station of the Cross in the church

- Offer to read one of the meditations when you arrive

The Great Easter Vigil (Saturday, 4/15 @ 7:30 pm) Lighting of the New Fire, Candlelight Procession, Singing the Exsultet, Salvation History Scriptures, and Gala Reception The First Holy Eucharist of Eastertide
Ways you can participate
- Bring a friend
- Bring a noisemaker to use when we herald the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (bells, party horns, etc.) in the middle of the service
- Gather outside the front doors of the church about 7:25 for the lighting of the New Fire (or be seated in the dark church if you'd rather not be in the candlelight procession)
- Listen, Sing, Receive the first Holy Communion of Eastertide
- Enjoy the Gala Reception in the undercroft (If you wish, contribute a sweet or savory snack to the table)
Easter Day (4/16) Holy Eucharists (8 and 10) and Easter Egg Hunt (following the 10 am service / 11:00 or 11:15)
Ways you can participate
- Invite or bring friends to a service (and/or the Easter Egg Hunt)
- 8 am: Celebrate Christ's Resurrection quietly, prayerfully and joyously without music
- 10 am: Celebrate Christ's Resurrection joyously and prayerfully with music (and give thanks for the birth of Charlotte Ann Millet)
- Enjoy an Easter Day Reception and The Easter Egg Hunt (If you wish, contribute a dozen colored hard-boiled eggs / see above)
